new things…

after seeing umbraco.base, i was kind of motivated to build something on it.
i tried a little bit around and liked stuff like the auth things... and the rest.xml file to handle different thing.

but i would like to use flash, and so i have googled around and found this. And so i thougt, umbraco needs an AMF interface... umbraco.base is really nice, but amf is more comfortable for flash.
and this is my new project...
so i am currently learning C# (what is not that hard ;]) and trying to start a powerfull umbraco extension for flash...

but hope to get some good tips from Per Ploug Hansen maybe on the user and auth stuff :)

BTW: i am not implementing AMF in C#, i use AMF.NET and will connect it to umbraco!

an english entry about umbraco

dev, flash, umbraco — pixelkind on Oktober 21, 2006 at 21:53

i have just recognized an incoming link from www.objects.dk [exact link].

the blog is from a guy from denmark, who works with the umbraco content management system.
i am very proud to be announced on his blog, because i found his blog also on my search through the web for some help for umbraco.

so in the next weeks i will also write some posts about umbraco/flash, because i will do a relaunch for the website of my mum. the backend will be umbraco cms 2.41 and the frontend in the first phase flash 8 and in the second phase i will also provide an html interface, so that the visitors can decide.
maybe i will also provide an english version of this site, we will see, this depends on the needs of my mum ;).

so this will be my test project about how fast i can build a website based on umbraco. i really love this cms and i haven't found an other cms which is this easy to use, powerfull and flexible. and i have tested a lot, because of my study...
btw: i will write all articles about the development in english so that everybody can understand it... :)

so look out for the next weeks.

good night ;]
